I really like this platform. People tend to be smart and articulate. So I’d like to take advantage of that and start some meaningful discussions about life’s bumps and how we navigate them. I believe there is an enormous amount of wisdom in our experiences. Let’s share them!
The Back Story
Bump In The Road (“Bump”) came about as a result of covid. My film project CancerRoadTrip was put on hold. What would I do? I’d worked on this for over 2 years, lined up corporate funding, and ….
Everything fell apart.
I had planned to start a podcast, but I’d envisioned it as a travelogue.
But with physical travel on hold, I decided to travel virtually.
What really interested me was how people manage life’s bumps. When you’re in the midst of radical change, it’s very hard to have any perspective.
What can we learn from each others stories? What are the themes and strengths that come out of those stories? How could we use that in our own lives?
So Bump was started. I hope you’ll participate. Tell me what you’d like to talk about. Or tell me about your best (or worst) “bump.”
