Launching a book on Amazon is interesting. It’s part strategic placement and part marketing. The key to becoming a “best seller” is to find an obscure category that relates in some way to your book, and focus the book buying to achieve #1 status during a 24 hour period. That’s what launch day is all about.
Naturally there are software programs that allow you to sift through the shifting sands of the Amazon algorithm. But it gets tougher after that. Next you need to get 50 reviews for the algorithm to even begin to recognize you. In this day where people are busy, this is herding cats. Remember this?
But it’s all an adventure, and I’m always up for an adventure. It’s opening up speaking engagements and some large organizations are expressing an interest in the book as well.
It seems we all need a bit of inspiration and even introspection to navigate life these days. I hope you’ll check out my book on Amazon.
