This is the very first podcast I did, and it remains one of my favorites. My discussion with Liz O’Riordan, MD touches on so many topics: How we create our identities; how paradigm shifts in our consciousness change our life’s path; and the necessity for sometimes radical personal change.
Liz’s story is outlined here and this is a link to the episode as well.
I hope you’ll listen. But whether you do (or don’t) I’d love to know your thoughts on these topics.
What creates our identity? School, job, neighborhood, house, stuff, interests, social networks….What has created yours in the past, and what creates it now? How has it evolved over time?
How do you define yourself?
How do you define yourself? Over the years I've had many identities. Wharton grad, finance person, pilot, wife, ex-wife, cancer patient (I didn't keep that one-not very empowering), traveler, writer, skier, tennis player. But they were all external identities. I think difficult times make us dig deep. What are your best qualities that have come from tough times?
